• The airport regularly serves aircraft from Cessna 150s up to Boeing 737s, Globals, Gulfstreams and other corporate clients

• Campbell River Airport has a strategic advantage as a leading location for aviation on Vancouver Island: a small plane or helicopter can make it to any point on the island within 1.5 hours

• Our local runway is close to the narrows between the mainland and the island, meaning an aircraft does not need to fly over a large stretch of water to get over to the mainland - an important planning detail for small airplanes and helicopters

• The ability to fly at low level in poor weather from YBL to the West Coast through Gold River or to the BC interior through Knight Inlet is a huge advantage
